Sistemska bolezen vezivnega tkiva - diagnostični izzivOsnovo pričujočega sestavka predstavlja opis obravnave bolnice, ki je zadnje leto opažala občasno otekanje in bolečine v zapestjih ter malih sklepih obeh rok. Pred nekaj meseci je prebolevala pljučnico s plevralnim izlivom. Ob tem se je pojavil tudi perikardialni izliv. Ugotovljene so bile še spremembe v imunoloških izvidih. Bolnica je tožila tudi zaradi utrujenosti ter alergije na sonce. Predvidevali smo, da se je razvil sistemski lupus eritematozus. Pozneje je omenjala še občutke suhih ust in oči. Zato smo pomislili na sekundarni Sjögrenov sindrom. Obe predpostavki smo dokazovali tako, da smo primerjali teoretična dejstva in klinične podatke. Na ta način smo predstavili glavne lastnosti, obravnavo in zdravljenje obeh bolezni. |
Connective tissue disease - a diagnostic challengeThe present paper deals with the diagnosis and treatment of a female patient who during the last year was observing intermittent swelling and pain located in wrists and joints of both hands. Few months ago she suffered from pneumonia, accompanied by pleural effusion. At the same time, there appeared pericardial effusion. Some disorders in immunologic results were detected as well. The patient also complained about fatigue and sun allergy. We supposed that systemic lupus erythematosus has developed. Later, the patient mentioned the lack of tears and saliva. Therefore, the additional hypethetical diagnosis was seconadry Sjörgen's syndrome. We compared the theory with the data from our case report. In this manner, we proved our hypotheses and presented tha main characteristics, management and treatment of both diseases. |
