Budd-Chiarijev sindrom je heterogena skupina bolezni, katerim je skupna motnja v jetrnem iztoku na kateremkoli nivoju - od jetrnih venul, jetrnih ven, spodnje votle vene do desnega atrija. Vzroki za nastanek Budd-Chiarijevega sindroma so številni, najpogostejši vzrok v vzhodnem svetu so membrane spodnje votle vene, v zahodnem svetu pa različne hematološke bolezni. Opisane so najpomembnejše značilnosti Budd-Chiarijevega sindroma in primer mlajšega bolnika, pri katerem smo potrdili dva vzročna dejavnika za omenjeni sindrom, antifosfolipidni sindrom in atrezijo spodnje votle vene.

Budd-Chiari syndrome : case report of 29 years old male patient with antiphospholipid syndrome and inferior vena cava athresia

The Budd-Chiari syndrome is a heterogenous group of disorders characterized by hepatic venous outflow obstruction at the level of the hepatic venules, the large hepatic veins, the inferior vena cava or the right atrium. There is a variety of causes for Budd-Chiari syndrome, the most frequent causes are inferior vena cava membranes in Eastern world and various hematologic abnormalities in Western world. We present the most important characteristics of Budd-Chiari syndrome and a case report of a male patient, to whom we confirmed two etiological factors for the syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome and inferior vena cava athresy.
